Because infertility is a secretive topic, one of our goals is to make anyone suffering from this disease, know they can feel comfortable speaking about it. We no longer want you to live in fear or hurt when answering the dreaded question, “So when are you having children?” Below are some resources that have helped Laura along her journey and if you are feeling lost, hopefully this gives you a good place to start.
The Cocoon – Laura’s support group who meets monthly at a local coffee shop. If you are in the Twin Cities area and are interested in meeting others who can relate with your journey, please reach out to her for the meeting schedule.

Recommended OBGYN Clinics
One of Laura’s biggest challenges through all of this was finding a doctor she trusted and who provided care and compassion. Many people need to start there before even finding a fertility clinic. Here are Laura’s recommendations for Doctors.
If you are located in the western suburbs:
OBGYN WEST – Dr. Grootwassink – http://obgynwest.net/
If you are located in the Eastern Suburbs:
Comprehensive Healthcare for Women- http://www.chcw.net/
Allina Woodbury – Dr. Caroline Leonard – http://wellness.allinahealth.org/providers/2149
Choosing a clinic can be a stressful decision. If you are in the Twin Cities, Laura highly recommend’ s RMIA located in both Edina and Woodbury, MN. If you are going through IVF, the clinic will become your second home for the time being. For Laura it was important to find a place where she felt comfortable and wasn’t treated like a number. She can truly say that RMIA has met her needs. (other than getting her pregnant thus far ;)).
